2007
Quarter 1 - Still living in the stick home, and
volunteering 2 days a week, put the house on the market and
Laura still has her own business while Sasha is working
Full-Time.
Quarter 2 - May 4th our home closed, so part of the
expenses (in April) where of the home, and part of the
expenses were during the transition to living in the truck
camper.
Quarter 3 - Full-timing in the truck camper, the expenses
have gone way down, I started to close down the business,
and Sasha was commuting 50 miles ONE way to work until
September, where he started to work remotely.
Quarter 4 - Sasha is
working remotely most of the time, we are either living in
the truck camper for October, or in the Cabin for November
and December. Should have expenses go way down, but we are
planning a small trip down to NC for Thanksgiving and
Williamsburg for Christmas. 2008
I am doing the expenses on the same page as the month,
but you can check out the quarters again in this area. After
March is over, I will have Quarter 1 2008 up on this page.
January 2008 - At the
Cabin, probably will be the cheapest month as we decided to
get a motorcycle for Sasha - which we will have to pay for
in March. Spent money on extra food supplies, I figured pay
2007 prices for 2008 food.
February 2008 - At the
Cabin, starting to get expensive. Down payment on
Motorcycle, Protective Bike clothes for Sasha, bought
airplane tickets for Florida, and the diesel prices are
going up. March 2008 - At
the Cabin, for the last month. Most expensive month since
started full-timing, as we paid the Transportation
Insurance, paid for the Motorcycle, and took a trip to
Florida. Quarter 1 2008 - I'm almost scared to calculate
it out! Will be up once the quarter is over, and I have
stopped gasping for breath.
April 2008 - First month in a private Campground,
moving, Truck Camper Rally, longer commute, learning about
the area etc, causing this to be one expensive month.
May 2008 - Very Expensive
month, especially realizing that the area we are in is
expensive and with a longer commute.
June 2008 - Finally getting
into the swing of this area, plus putting in a garden using
the Square Foot Gardening methods.
Quarter 2 2008 - Not
too bad considering we are further away from Sasha's work,
and the food and gas prices are soaring. We shall see.
July 2008 - Our cheapest
month yet for full-timing! We were very excited about that.
Started to separate out the food expenses to include
provisions and pick your own along with regular shopping.
August 2008 - Stocked up
majorly for provisions this month, also did a bunch of
drying of pick your own peaches,
September 2008 -
October 2008 -
November 2008 - Last
month for a little while in the camper, getting it fixed for
full timing in 2009.
December 2008 - Living in
a House? Expenses are different. 2009
