Some of these expenses will be high, because May was an expensive month, plus food expenses are going up. Also, Sasha is driving/riding a slightly further distance, so the gas prices are a little more

Note: F1 means what life energy we are spending for these amounts (remember, this is a three month period.) We figured out the life energy based on "Your Money or Your Life" book, I put it on the side so you can see it. Although I did not put the other parts of the book here - F2 -whether the cost was worth it to you, F3 - will you be spending the same amount next time, and F4 - is it part of your life goal, obviously some things are worth it to us, and some are not.

Obviously, this is not as expensive a quarter as the first quarter in 2008. In Transportation, we now have a new category called Motorcycle Maintenance, because of the new motorcycle. Also, a new category in Recreation was the creation of Gardening. I finally got my mind around trying this out, using the Square Foot Gardening techniques. We shall see if it helps us in the coming months.

The Food and Meals to Go numbers reflect the increase in prices for food. The gas and diesel prices are higher as we took a trip in April (for the Truck Camper Rally) and because we were travelling a bit more. But the gas prices are now separated - for the car and for the motorcycle. But still, when you add the both of these together, it is higher than the previous quarter's amount. We also did more maintenance on the car, truck and motorcycle this quarter.

Communication costs were higher as we upped the amount of minutes for both our phones and hosting was a little high. I have since changed the hosting amount - still a good amount for people checking out the website but not too high a price.

Health costs went down as I told the health insurance company to forget about my dental insurance. I was paying $25 for them to cover x-rays and dental hygiene, but they did not cover it until I had paid the high deductible. So what is the point? We will pay out of pocket for those services. We also stopped going to a gym, as Sasha is riding the motorbike back and forth each day and I am standing most often for work. It is not an ideal situation, but for now, that is what we are doing.

Recreation was high as we got into the community. As I stated before, we have a new category, Gardening, which I decided I wanted to learn how to do. I got a couple of books to learn how, and applied those lessons in the gardening. So far, it has worked, and I got some help from Sasha as well. We also got a membership at a library which cost money, plus went camping at the Rally, did a bunch of fun stuff, and had some Toy Gear (mostly Sasha's bike - I consider it recreation even if he is using it for work.)

There were a couple of birthdays during this quarter, so gifts were needed. We also had our taxes done for last year, since we sold the house, did the volunteering, closed down my business, and started the full-timing. It seemed a good idea.

It will be interesting to see next quarters results (I'll try to put them up a little earlier than I did with this one!) as we will again be going on vacation in September, and using the camper, but also still living very frugally. See you next quarter!
