Expenses Quarter 3 - 2008
Some of these expenses will be high, because
September was an expensive month, plus food expenses are up.
Also, Sasha is driving/riding a slightly further distance,
so the gas prices are a little more, but utilities are
nonexistent. We also paid personal property tax in
September, so over $1K was to that alone.
We had an expensive couple of months for
food, both in regular food and meals to go, I bought bunches
of provisions and got tons (OK Bushels and bushels of
peaches - they were so unbelievably good) and dried them up
to have in the winter. So hopefully this winter, likely in
January and February, we will be having peaches that were
dried this past summer. So expensive now, cheap later.
Gas prices got really high during these months and so it is
reflected in the Transportation costs. We spent almost $1K
on gas or diesel for those three months. And like I stayed
before, we paid Personal Property Tax in
September, plus
Vehicle Insurance for the next 6 months. So OUCH for
September.
We decided to join a gym in
September as
well, so the month of October would be paid for in
September. Plus they got us for initiation fees and other
stuff. But it is month to month so there is something good
out of it. Sasha's FSA - Federal Saving Account for health
ran out back in June, so we had to pay for his dental work,
next year we need to add just a little bit more so that we
are covered.
We did some fun stuff, check out
July,
August and
September pages to see what fun things we were
doing, plus, there were several birthdays during those
months, so gifts were given. Lots of Kiddies having
birthdays, always a good thing.
We did have a ding on our American Express
card, I talked about this in September, so I won't go into
it here. But that was the charge for a couple of hours. Real
Nice, huh? An Expensive quarter, hopefully
the last quarter of the year will be better. Check out the
Last Quarter of 2008. Note: F1 means what life energy we are
spending for these amounts (remember, this is a three month
period.) We figured out the life energy based on "Your Money
or Your Life" book, I put it on the side so you can see it.
Although I did not put the other parts of the book here - F2
-whether the cost was worth it to you, F3 - will you be
spending the same amount next time, and F4 - is it part of
your life goal, obviously some things are worth it to us,
and some are not.
