Expenses Quarter 4 - 2008
Some of these expenses will be high, because
November was an expensive
month, plus food expenses are up. Also, Sasha is
driving/riding a slightly further distance, so the gas
prices are a little more, but utilities are nonexistent. We
paid for three months of rent in
November, so that month was
a bit on the high side.
This quarter, we started eating some of
those provisions that I had bought in previous quarters and
months. I started noticing prices were going up, and it made
no sense buying things that we already had. Sasha also felt,
why carry around stuff, is it really worth its weight in
gasoline money? I'm sure the apples and peaches dried last
quarter will come in handy this quarter and in the coming
quarters. So you can see the prices for Food & Household
have gone down, but the Meals to Go food went up from last
quarter. This is because we started eating out more
especially in December.
Gas prices got started to go down during this quarter.
Partly because we moved, and so had a shorted commuting
distance for Sasha, and partly because of the lower prices
for gas. We also took the truck on several longer trips in
November and
December, so diesel prices
were up.
In October, we got some gift cards and since I started
working at the museum, I had to have some nice clothes. So
we spent over the gift cards. As this is the first time this
year on buying clothes, it is not too bad. We also bought
work-out clothes because we joined a gym. So
we used the gym in October
and November, then found
the leak in November, which
was not good, but we got it to the place to get fixed and
got the trailer fixed as well. That is the trailer expense
that we had. Really, it should have gone under Maintenance,
rather than equipment, but oh well.
We did some fun stuff, especially in
October and
December, check out those pages to see what fun things we were
doing, plus, there were several birthdays and Christmas during those
November and
December, so gifts were given. Lots of Kiddies having
fun, always a good thing.
So this was an Expensive quarter because we
paid full rent for three months, otherwise it would have
been on par with last quarter, hopefully
the next quarter will be lower. However, for this year, I
put in the yearly expenses, no verbiage, just the expenses.
You can check it out on the Expenses Year 2008.
Check out the new quarter of 2009. Note: F1 means what life energy we are
spending for these amounts (remember, this is a three month
period.) We figured out the life energy based on "Your Money
or Your Life" book, I put it on the side so you can see it.
Although I did not put the other parts of the book here - F2
-whether the cost was worth it to you, F3 - will you be
spending the same amount next time, and F4 - is it part of
your life goal, obviously some things are worth it to us,
and some are not.
