Some of these expenses will be high, because the food prices were starting to go up, and we took a small vacation during the Thanksgiving week, plus there was Christmas.

Note: F1 means what life energy we are spending for these amounts (remember, this is a three month period.) We figured out the life energy based on "Your Money or Your Life" book, I put it on the side so you can see it. Although I did not put the other parts of the book here - F2 -whether the cost was worth it to you, F3 - will you be spending the same amount next time, and F4 - is it part of your life goal, obviously some things are worth it to us, and some are not.

Sasha got a couple of shirts which accounted for the clothing expenses. We got propane, because we went on a trip and needed it for heat! He was not always commuting 50 miles away from work, so the Transportation costs went down (he was still working remotely until about December.) We added a few extra expenses when we started living in the Cabin; Internet was one, because we could hardly use the Sprint card - could not really get much use out of the cell phones either. And since I gave up my business in October, we now have to pay for hosting the website.

We did more fun stuff this quarter, thanks to only working on the weekend and getting an occasional weekend off. We went down to Topsail for Thanksgiving. We saw the Kiddies at Christmas and gave gifts of course.

This quarter was the best one yet, really saving tons of money. Remember this is three months of information, averaging about $1500 each month. Actually, November was a pretty expensive month, we had to put new tires on the Saturn, which is why you see Maintenance for $619.37 that was for tires and oil change. Diesel was high because of traveling down to North Carolina and Williamsburg in December.

Since I shut down the business in October, I only had one more client, so I would pay for their hosting in October and one last time in January 2008. Then I am done with StT.

Next quarter, we live in the cabin for January, February and March. After that, we are not exactly sure. There are things in the works. I think I might not do quarters but actual months, we will have to wait and see. But expenses are going up as far as I can see regarding gasoline and food - because of the economy, not that we are really doing things differently.  So Check out Next Quarter: 2008 Expenses_Q1.
