A descriptive look at traveling and full-timing with our second RV, a fifth wheel toyhauler.
Laura and Sasha started this adventure in April of 2005
for a two week vacation in a truck camper.
January 2011: At Lake Mead National Recreation Area
OK, This page has totally changed from what I had before. The reason, I think it was actually last years' words. Part of the problem is that I do not get on these pages as often as I should, instead, I am on Facebook and put things up there. But what is cool is that I can go back into my profile and bring in the things that I was thinking about from there. So here it goes: (oh, and I also have Sasha's thoughts on stuff as well.
January 1st: Happy New Year Everyone! From those of us on Pacific Time!
January 3rd, Sasha went to Lake Havasu to get the external fuel tank put onto the truck. He took a couple of pictures of a bridge he went over - the London Bridge!

January 4th: We went for a walk to the Mike O'Callaghan – Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, also known as the Hoover Dam Bypass. This time it was less windy and so we were able to go all the way there and back, using the Historic Railroad Tunnel Trail.
January 6th: Srechan Budna Veche!! :-) Or Happy Christmas Eve for all those who are Serbian Orthodox. We tried to Skype with the folks back east, but it did not work. Oh well, we will try again another time.
So let me suggest that you check out the other hiking we did in January, first the hike to Arizona Hot Springs, with a new way of mapping, using the Delorme mapping system of our GPS. I do not have this for all of our hikes, but it is cool to see the elevation change and the route we took. You'll also want to check out the page, Nevada Hikes where you can also see some of Las Vegas as well.
