June 2010: At Canyonlands National Park!

OK, I will be using Facebook comments for the text here. It seems we did not write as much in the text on Facebook. But that is OK, as we took lots of pictures. We always take lots of pictures, it is just getting them on the website that can be a little vexing. But, it is OK, only took me a year to get these on!

June 4-6th we were in Liberty UT, visiting Bo and Sasha's Parents. We all stayed at the house and checked out some cool places. Sasha and I also bought lots of food. We went to a Winco's and a couple of other places. You can see the expenses of June 2010 but we had fun with the parents and with Bo.

This is Me, Milo (Sasha & Bo's Dad), Bo, and Olga (Sasha and Bo's Mom). We were in Eden I think when Sasha took this picture. This was June 4th, 2010.

This waterfall was on the way into town. There is a drainage at the top, and the water flows down into a creek. Lots of water here at this time. And I bet it is really cold!

Great picture of all of us, on the deck. It looked so green out there!

Us with a Moose. We are at a ski area, quite a ways up in elevation. I think Dad J was getting a little woozy, but he still took a great picture.

Another moose, this time in Park City, UT - where Sasha and I were able to get Crocs at a discount, as they have an outlet there. Beautiful town, and there is a trolley that goes up and down the hill.

We were back by June 6th, and working for a bit, then I went on training for a couple of days. But one of the best days of training was on June 14th, when I went for the Geology part. So I have a few huge scale pictures, but only will put a few up. If there are no people in it, I do not think it is as exciting. But you can be the judge of that.

Cool Fossils - this is a limestone I believe. This rock was in Arches National Park.

OK, so we were taking some fun rides in the area, so the next page will be about that ride - called the Canyon Rims-Needles Overlook.
