A descriptive look at traveling and full-timing with our second RV, a fifth wheel toyhauler.
Laura and Sasha started this adventure in April of 2005
for a two week vacation in a truck camper.
Laura and Sasha & Parents Hike to Liberty Bell Arch - February 2011
February 14th: Happy Valentine's Day. What better way to celebrate than to go on a hike with parents that loved each other enought to have a child or two (me and my sister) and go on a hike with us?
We did not take very many pictures as we were separated for part of the hike. But still - look at those beautiful blue skies! We love Lake Mead.

..
We realize this is slightly out of order, but if you want to check out Death Valley, go ahead. But I am going to put up a picture or two after Death Valley.
Sasha: February 17th: What a cool place. Highly recommend the TItus Canyon one-way drive from Beatty, NV. Current conditions allow just about any high clearance vehicle to get thru. We did it in a rental Chevy Traverse.
February 18th: Full Moon Hike on Historic Railroad Tunnel Trail.
OK, we tried something new for our boss, to try to get people interested in Lake Mead. So we were on the side of the road, close to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area sign, and waving to people. Sometimes, the road is so busy that people stop. But on that day it was not busy at all, and people were doing about 50 mph. Anyway. Here is a picture of us. We used the truck to set it up.
February 27: Another try at getting people to know about Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Check out the photos.
| Can you tell we are enjoying life? | |
| And this picture was actually in March, but Sasha was working on it at the end of March to get it ready before we headed to Canyonlands NP. |
So Check out the February Pages: Death Valley, Scotty's Castle, and DEVA Geology. We also did a hike before we went out to Death Valley, again going to Liberty Bell Arch.
