A descriptive look at traveling and full-timing with our second RV, a fifth wheel toyhauler.
Laura and Sasha started this adventure in April of 2005
for a two week vacation in a truck camper.
March 2010 Sasha's Rides: At Canyonlands National Park
& Surrounding Area
Actually, we wanted to show people were we were living during the time we were in Canyonlands. Sasha took some really good pictures once we had gotten in there and set it up. The hay was put down afterwards to make it easier to get a grip in the extremely soft sand. There is a couple of concrete lines (no, not a concrete pad, two strips of concrete I guess for the tires to go on, but not the entire rig) so it made it harder to get the rig in place. So we did the best we could. The other problem was that when we brought it in, the weather was bad, and it was starting to rain. So we had to work fast to get it in. Like I said, we did the best we could do.

Lockhart Basin Scenic Byway First Time This is the first set of pictures of a ride he took: |

Lockhart Basin Scenic Byway (A road in Utah, near Canyonlands, but on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land, not National Park land.) This was the first time Sasha went down this road. Not the last. I also went down this road for easy 4x4 training. But I am getting ahead of myself. These pictures were taken on March 21, 2010. You might see a little bit of snow on the peaks. |

Scenic views - the road goes around this huge hunk of land. It is never far away from you. |
