May 2010: At Canyonlands National Park!
May was an unbelievable month, with lots of learning for me and lots of hiking for Sasha. The dark skies here are really dark, as there is no one else around. So I made sure to really get to know the dark skies as I was doing a campfire program about the stories of the dark skies. Also, there are tons of pictures. Alway are tons, but it took me a long time to get over how many pictures we took. So May will have several segments to it. Get ready for some cool pics!

May Hike of Squaw Canyon to Lost Canyon. This happened on May 3rd. I am going to put in only a couple with the enlarge, info and map, but most are just pictures. You can think of it as a Virtual tour, as some can not get out this way all that often. Also, where this is showing for the map is not correct but this was before we had a GPS, so we have to go with Google's GPS. |
