December 2010 - Scooter Training in El Paso, Texas
Check it out! I am getting Scooter Training for my license, this will help in having lower insurance for my license, and having the training is always a good way to go. $150 to a private company and two days later, score a motorcycle license with lower insurance.
December 17th: We are in El Paso, TX for the weekend. I am just a short walk away from the classroom. We are getting my scooter ready for the class. I have taken a ride on the course and it looks fine to me. Hopefully the weather will be good and you'll see pictures later.
Here are some of the pictures we had, the first couple are our views that we had out our window. Then some showing me. Sasha did some cropping to really bring me more into focus.

So the training went well: Passed Motorcycle Safety Foundation course with flying colors! And everyone loved my scooter. The instructors at the Motorcycle Training Center were excellent, no screaming and yelling to get their points across. They taught with humor and insight, serious when appropriate, and great understanding throughout. I would highly recommend them. And the thoughts from others:
Laura Capuano Jevtich http://www.TexasMTC.com/ is their website.
Yvonne Jevtich Batal yahhhhhhh congrats, Sis
Sasha Jevtich Congrats to Laura!
Sasha Jevtich Plus, it was nice of them to let us stay in our rig for 4 days, right there in training central! Did not have to find a campground and commute for 7am class start times!
Laura Capuano Jevtich Yeah, that 7 am start time was a killer! We are not early risers!
Yvonne Jevtich Batal i like the 7 show time! rise and shine!!!
Mary Beth Dunn Congrats Laura! Enjoy!
And too: Srechan Slava to my brother! We missed you tonight..Momma Cooked up an amazing meal! From Yvonne, and Sasha says: Srechan Slava! The patrian saint of the Jevtich's usually means a big party for the saint's birthday.
December 20th: Bye Bye El Paso, TX, it was nice knowing you. Onward to New Mexico!
And then a couple more pictures to understand why we like our adopted state.

| Unbelievable! |
December 20th: Come and join me for a total lunar eclipse this evening. Have the kids stay up late, because it is educational and fun! We will be in Tucson, AZ for tonight's viewing. And others respond:
Judy Gill Smit I'm staying up to watch.
Laura Capuano Jevtich Cool! You might see other stars too!
Julie Fakler Callahan Be up for this. Alarm set
Laura Capuano Jevtich I think we will go to the casino for a while (Casino Del Sol) and then, maybe stay up for the eclipse.
Laura Capuano Jevtich Saw it, amazing, beautiful and really really cool! Unbelievable colors, while at a Tucson AZ casino, listening to javelina's cry at the night. No other stars visible, but at first, could not find the moon, then saw it in all its beauty. It was worth it to stay up late. Off to bed at 2 am Mountain Time. Don't wake me up tomorrow!
Bo Jevtich So access to the stars here w snow clouds and a power outage last nite. Well the power outage didn't interfere...well it DID for 'lunar' Monday Nite Football...:-(
Laura Capuano Jevtich I did not take a picture as it would not have worked but I am glad that I stayed up to watch it. To have a total lunar eclipse on winter solstice will not happen again until 2094!
So we have one more page...Truck shopping - will explain shortly...
